Our Pet of St. Vincent this week is Duchess, owned by Lara Sanders, APRN, at East Community Clinic! Duchess is a Chocolate-point Ragdoll cat who loves playing with her toys and the family dog, as well as being brushed and curling up to watch movies. We think she's an absolute beauty!

A special CHI St. Vincent Service Hero honor today for Savannah Moore, RN, of Hot Springs. Savannah took care of a patient who was at the end of life with such compassion that the family asked us to honor her. They said she treated him with the love of God. Savannah is truly a special nurse, and we're proud to recognize her as a Service Hero.

We are thrilled to announce a generous gift of $5 million from Isabel and John Ed Anthony for the creation of the Anthony Center for Advanced Cardiac Care at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary! The Anthony Center will be the new standard for the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related conditions. It will allow us to continue to expand our heart program to better care for both simple and complex cases.

Congratulations to Nikki McDowell, Infusion Team Manager, on receiving the Chick-fil-A Humankindness Award! Our Pet of St. Vincent this week is Tempo, belonging to Shanika Hendricks at the Infirmary! Tempo is a 90-pound cuddlebug who loves to snuggle up in his PJs. He also enjoys car rides and playing fetch! We think Tempo is a gentleman and a very good boy!

Tomorrow is the game between Arkansas and Arkansas St. at War Memorial Stadium, and parking will be available CHI St. Vincent Infirmary! Parking is $40, and starting at 7 a.m. fans can enter on either the University or Markham side. There will be several volunteers on hand to help you reach your spot quickly. Best of all, you'll only be a short walk across the golf course to get to the stadium!

CHI St. Vincent Infirmary and CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs have been awarded the Chest Pain - MI Registry Performance Achievement Award! The award recognizes hospitals that demonstrate sustained top-level performance in quality of care and adherence to best practices. Hot Springs received the Silver honor, while Infirmary was given the Platinum award. Congratulations to the teams at both hospitals!
