Hello out there! It's been a rough week for everyone. More for some than others and it's heartbreaking about the damage that has occurred over a large swath of the country. (that's just weather-wise).

I made it to HS this morning. I-30 is clear from LR to HS. I came down 270 from the Malvern exit. Clear and wet though. Malvern Ave is not so great, but driveable.

I will be here again in the morning until about 3:00 PM and then I will be on vacation for the first 2 weeks of February.

Hello! Here's a quick update of my schedule. I am here tomorrow. Friday morning until noon.

Will it really snow? It's Arkansas, who knows for sure.

Monday depends on the weather....
Friday will be the last day before I get to go on vacation.
I will be back the 3rd week of February which is the 16-20th.

Just to clarify Fridays.... I am here on Friday mornings. Somehow people think that I started taking Friday's off. I'm here every day Monday-Friday.

Thanks to all who have donated to Hope Fur Paws Rescue. Your change and dollars added up to $26.00 and I matched that amount and am sending them $52.00. Check them out.

It looks like we may have some freezing temps next week.
Take time to cover your plants, prepare for your pets/animals and check on your neighbor. Oh, and the faucet covers should be put on.

If there is moisture on your deck or porch, then there may be "black ice" so try not to fall.

Next Friday and Saturday, the 14,15 there is a second annual Holiday Bazaar to raise funds for Nursing Scholarships at NPC and Veteran Projects for local vets. It will be at the Oaklawn United Methodist Church at 216 Higdon Ferry Road.

Looks like they have some pretty cool items for sale.

Next Monday, Oct.13 is a Federal holiday and the banks will be closed and the city also. Federal employees are already off, without their consent.
