One of my favorite things about this season is that it’s still light out when I get off work. It gives me the chance to enjoy some fresh air, unwind from the day, and spend meaningful time outside with my family.

A walk was just what we needed. Sunshine, movement, and a little time in nature does wonders for my mental health. It’s a small but powerful way to reset, recharge, and reconnect.

Happy Birthday to the biggest cheerleader behind Gemstone Counseling. Without his encouragement, I would have probably never made the leap to private practice.

He’s always behind the scenes helping me be my best self. ….He’s making sure to bring me lunch or drinks, so I can fit all of my people in. He runs almost all of my “oops, I forgot to do that Friday” errands. He rounds the corner to pick Cappie up for her potty breaks (IYKYK). And he is the steady stream of support and encouragement for me to keep chasing big dreams.

Maeve made it through her first full day at work today! She gave love and was loved on by all of our amazing clients. Don’t worry— Cappie was happy for a day off (mainly from the puppy 🙃).

We’re all settling in just fine over here. 🖤🐾
