Grand County Rural Health Network We offer healthcare access, resources & support for our neighbors to lead their healthiest lives.

The Grand County Rural Health Network is a nonprofit organization that services both Grand and Jackson counties in Colorado. We believe everyone has the right to health care and to understand how to access that care. We understand that good health encompasses more than health care, and that we are all healthier together. Our dedicated staff works in partnership with health providers, businesses, and community members to improve the future of health systems in our community. We work to educate our neighbors and help them navigate those systems to ensure they have the information and services they need to live their healthiest lives.

November 1 is only 5 days away!

Here are a few things you can do now to get ready to enroll in health insurance during this year's Open Enrollment period:

1. Mark the most important dates on your calendar.
🗓️ November 1: Open Enrollment begins
🗓️ December 15: Deadline to enroll to make sure you’ll have health coverage starting January 1, 2026
🗓️ January 15: Open Enrollment ends

2. Review what you have and what you need. Plan prices and options change every year, so knowing what to look for could help you find a more affordable plan or one that better fits your needs.

3. Update your Connect for Health Colorado Profile. Changes in income or address could affect your health insurance coverage or the financial help you’re eligible to receive.

4. Have important documents and information on hand. Save yourself time by having the following readily available for everyone who will be enrolling: Full names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security numbers, proof of citizenship or legal residency, estimate of total annual household income.

And remember, you can set a FREE appointment with one of our certified experts to get your questions answered and to walk you through each step of the enrollment process.

Call us at 970-725-3477 or go here to schedule an appointment: https://gcruralhealth.org/direct-services/health-coverage-2/

It's Bullying Awareness Month, and preventing bullying is a responsibility we all share.

Parents and caring adults can help kids by modeling kindness and keeping the lines of communication wide open, ensuring they feel safe enough to discuss problems. Beyond open talks, encouraging children to pursue activities and hobbies they genuinely love is a powerful step. These special interests help boost confidence and build the supportive friendships that create a protective shield against bullying behaviors.

If a child or teen needs to talk to a professional, I Matter Colorado offers up to six free, confidential therapy sessions for all Colorado youth. Help is available to anyone who needs it.

Medical debt is already the leading cause of bankruptcy in the U.S.

Enhanced Premium Tax Credits are a lifeline - helping more than 20 million people afford coverage and avoid bills that drain savings and destroy credit.

Earlier this year, Congress had the chance to make health care tax credits permanent. Instead, they passed the largest health care cuts in U.S. history - deepening inequities and leaving families vulnerable.

📢📢 Now is the time to raise our voices together and demand that Congress make premium tax credits permanent and repeal these harmful health care cuts.

Health care is on the line.

Enhanced Premium Tax Credits make coverage affordable for more than 20 million people - helping families see a doctor, fill prescriptions, and avoid crushing medical debt.

But instead of making them permanent earlier this year, Congress passed the biggest health care cuts in U.S. history. Now families are at risk of higher premiums, lost coverage, and more medical debt.

Congress has a choice: put families first or make health care even more unaffordable.

📢 📢 Contact your representatives and urge them to make health care tax credits permanent and repeal harmful health care cuts. Families in Colorado can’t wait.
