Join the Grand County Rural Health Network’s Community IMPACT Team and Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge & Retreat Center for a FREE screening of “Paradise Paradox” from 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th. Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge is located at 105 County Road 663 in Grand Lake.

This is a powerful documentary exploring mental health in mountain resort communities. The film features members of Grand County and shares the stories of some of those lost to mental health or substance use disorders.

The last session in the summer series! This Thursday, August 28th, join Stevie Jo Kitterman, Lead Recovery Coordinator, for Mindful Movement: a FREE, simple, and fun way to de-stress and reset! Build community as you explore movement, mindfulness, self-awareness, stress management, and healthy coping strategies. Held via Zoom every other Thursday from June 5 through August 28 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Join from the comfort of your home or office!

Following the film, a panel of community members will share some of their lived experiences as part of a trauma-informed discussion on how these issues show up here and what resources exist in and near our community.
