The days are shorter. The temperatures are cooler. For some people, the season may be overshadowed by feelings of anxiety or sadness. While these feelings are common, some people may experience a more intense version. Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD, is a type of depression that occurs during certain seasons of the year.
