The Knights of Columbus, Millinocket Chapter, drove up to The County to present us with a check. Money they raised came from a bottle drive they conducted. We so appreciate the support of the Knights from all across Maine who offer encouragement and support.

We are the Pregnancy Care Center of Houlton. We are a member of Care net and part of the Pregnancy Care Centers of Aroostook. We are a faith-based organization and offer services and support to Pregnant mothers and mothers who are raising cherished children. We offer diapers, wipes, formula, clothing (new and gently used), and basic baby furniture including but not exclusive to: strollers, playpens, highchairs, car seats and cribs. 99% of all items are donated either new or gently used. We do a "Baby Basket" for new moms with items including diapers, wipes, books, stuffed animals, clothing (seasonally through the first year) bottle or lactation aids, personal items, baby wash, diaper rash ointment... a "starter kit, if you will. Moms can also earn new higher end items by completing, Bible studies, reading books of pregnancy and child development, watching videos, or attending parenting classes. We also have a very small food pantry. Who are our moms? They are married, single, in a relationship, foster moms, divorced, and engaged. They come for items they need , they often remain for conversation, emotional support, tissues to catch tears, hugs, prayers, and laughter. And sometimes hot cocoa and a snack. We, the staff, have a heart to meet the needs of Moms and their growing children.
