We’re proud to share that our new Opioid Rescue Kit is now available outside our center, located right by the front door.

This kit includes Narcan, testing strips, and CPR masks—essential tools that can help save lives in an emergency. It also includes clear instructions on how to respond to an overdose.

We understand that not everyone is able to come in during regular hours or may not feel comfortable entering the building. That’s why this kit is accessible 24/7, providing support when it’s needed most.

Please feel free to use these resources and share this information with others in our community.

Together, we can make a difference. 💙

• Microwaveable meals or mac cups
• Tuna or chicken packets

Black Balloon Day gave our community a moment to pause and honor the people we’ve lost to overdose. It’s a day that brings grief into the open, where it can be held with honesty, love, and respect instead of silence.

The gathering itself carried a mix of reflection and lightness. People shared space, memories, music, and small moments of connection that made the room feel steady and supportive.

Our hope is that the impact continues beyond the day. When we come together like this, it reduces stigma, strengthens community, and keeps the stories of our loved ones present in a way that matters.

A Heartfelt Thank You 🖤
Black Balloon Day was a beautiful success! We had 30 people join us to honor loved ones lost to overdose.
A huge thank you to the AMHC staff and volunteers—we couldn’t have done it without you. Between the music, karaoke, and great food, it was a powerful afternoon of community and remembrance. 🤝
