RelyOn provides expert training in safety, skills, drilling, emergency response, and crisis management, helping people work safely in high-risk industries, every day. (ASI) in 2000, ASI began to concentrate on safety related services, personnel and equipment. Soon thereafter, Alford Safety Services Inc. The lack of adequate safety training in the area led ASSI to develop its first safety training facility. A continued dedication to safety has enabled ASSI to become the largest safety training provider in the Gulf South. The Alford family continued expansion incorporating Alford Safety and Compliance (ASC) in 2006. This new addition provides both regulatory and medical compliance services. The Alford group was acquired in 2008 by Falck, the world's largest international assistance, emergency, healthcare and training provider. In 2013 Falck Alford was renamed Falck Safety Services (FSS). As part of the Falck family, FSS operates under the training division of Falck, Falck Nutec. On January 23, 2019 our name changed to RelyOn Nutec. We operate across 5 continents with 32 training facilities.

I know safety training is talked about as an expense. I’ve done the same, looked at the line item and winced. But when I pause and think about the people behind that number, it changes that thought process.

Training isn’t just ‘spend’. It’s fewer injuries, fewer hard phone calls, fewer days lost to what-ifs. It’s projects that stay on track because teams know what to do when it matters. It’s the knowing that you played a part in seeing everyone go home in one piece.

Yes, it saves money through less downtime, less rework, fewer claims. But it also saves something bigger: confidence, trust and sometimes lives.

So, when you’re signing off on training, remember you are not buying a class. You’re investing in tomorrow’s start-of-shift headcount being the same as today’s.
