This week, Ascent is honored to celebrate 14 years of service.

What started as a small nonprofit in Monroe, LA in 2012 has continued to grow and expand. We're rooted in a simple commitment: to love people well and follow through on what we promise.

We are incredibly thankful to the families who have trusted us and welcomed us into their homes and lives. We’re also grateful for the unwavering support of our community partners, providers, schools, and fellow nonprofits over the years.

Meet 18 year old Courtney...

What started out in a psychiatric facility, ended with Courtney finding stability, emotional and situational, and hope for her own future.

Courtney, an eighteen year old... Referred to Ascent by a psychiatric facility after she had almost taken her life, was diagnosed with depression and bipolar disorder.  Courtney was living with her brother and his girlfriend because her mother had passed away in a car accident seven years earlier.....
