WHAT IS PSORIASIS? ๐Ÿค”

๐—ฃ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€ is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that causes the body to produce skin cells too quickly. This leads to thick, scaly patches that can be red, itchy, and inflamed, most commonly on the elbows, knees, scalp, and lower back.

๐—ฃ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€, but it can impact your confidence and comfort. Most people with psoriasis experience their first flare between the ages of 15 and 35, but it can develop at any age. Approximately 10-15% of individuals with psoriasis develop the condition before the age of 10.
