Start Corporation Start Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1984. We are proud to serve communities throughout Louisiana.

Our Mission is to promote opportunities, which enhance the self-sufficiency of people to empower them to live and function independently. We offer Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Community Based Services, Veterans Services, Crisis Care and Homeless Outreach/Coordinated Entry throughout the state of Louisiana. Currently, we operate five Federally Qualified Health Centers and are excited to add two more this year. Start Corporation received 3 Year CARF Accreditation for Case Management/Services Coordination, Community Housing, and Community Integration. Mardi Gras Closure Notice 📣🎭

All Start Corp locations will be closed on Monday, February 16, and Tuesday, February 17, in observance of Mardi Gras.

We will reopen and resume normal operations on Wednesday, February 18. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Mardi Gras!

Start Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1984. Start Corporation strongly believes in recovery, quality of life, respect, and personal choice for our clients and for everyone.

Start Corporation has successfully established numerous programs to provide supportive housing, case management, social skills training, residential services, a clubhouse, and a Peer to Peer program for persons with low incomes and/or behavioral, physical, or developmental challenges and disabilities.

Start Corporation received 3 Year CARF Accreditation for Case Management/Services Coordination, Community Housing, and Community Integration. Start Community Health Center received level 3 accreditation for Patient Centered Medical Home in September of 2017.
