Wellness Wednesday Fun Fact 💡

Did you know your head weighs about 10–12 pounds in a normal upright position, but for every inch your head moves forward, the pressure on your spine nearly doubles? 😳

That means constantly looking down at your phone, computer, or tablet can put up to 40–60 pounds of stress on the muscles, joints, and discs in your neck. Over time, this extra strain can contribute to headaches, neck pain, shoulder tension, numbness or tingling in the arms, poor posture, and even reduced range of motion.

This condition is commonly called “Tech Neck,” and it’s becoming more common in both adults and kids due to the amount of time spent on devices every day.

Simple things like improving posture, stretching, taking breaks from screens, and chiropractic adjustments can help reduce stress on the spine and keep your body functioning properly!

This week’s Supporting Local lineup is here! ☀️🥤

Dirty Daughter Sodas will be set up at our office TOMORROW from 11am–6pm! Come out, support small businesses, and treat yourself to a delicious drink! The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so it’s the perfect excuse to stop by and grab your favorite soda creation.

We also saw that Butter Beer will be on the menu this week and we are VERY excited about that! 👀✨

We love being able to support other local businesses while bringing something fun to our community and patients. We hope to see you tomorrow!

We are also thinking about opening up our parking lot during the week in September as well!
