This past week at Health Kneads Massage. I had the opportunity to treat 2 new patients and see 1 patient that's from out of the country but gets in with me when she's in town visiting family.

Out of country patient says with such enthusiasm that she tells people back home she calls me "The butcher" because I chop up everything in the body and make it go away. So every time someone talks about massge back home she tells people "You haven't had a real massage until you see the tall girl in Ohio." Her words not mine 🤷‍♀️, but that's a first for me 😂! I will take it as a compliment as she told me I should 😂!

New patient number 2. Walks out of the treatment room and simply says "Savage, you are savage! How do you do that? No one around here does body work like that, thank you so much this is exactly what I needed!"

Me: "It's just my job, babe! As I am laughing bc I've never been called savage! 😂! (Definitely taking it as a compliment 💪!)

New patient number 3. "I've had massages all over the place and I've never experienced a massage as thorough and in depth as that. That was sooo good, I have never felt like this after a massage. How do you get so much done in an hour?"

I take GREAT and amazing pride in what I do each and every day! Your pain really is "my gain" here at Health Kneads.

I strive to make you as comfortable as possible while you're being in uncomfortable pain from working on years of stress and pain in your body. It's never easy to release it.

The difference between me and other therapist, I listen to the body and my hands go where your body tells them to go. I've been told a time or two I am "too deep" but in retrospect, I am not. I am working out the very thing you came to me for to work out.

Deep Tissue medical massage does require a part of your brain to lock in to push through the uncomfortable parts. I will never in good conscience let someone walk out my door still in pain, it's just not in me!

Anyway, I hope this post gave you a good laugh as it has me reminiscing about my work week of the very thing I love to do and still going 12 years strong 💪!

Good afternoon, to any and all who may see this post. I just wanted to hop on here and share something that has been on my heart.

As a small business owner who has been in Washington Court House for 9 years and hasn't accepted any same day or walk in appointments since my first day of business 9 years ago. To a degree I feel small business owners are put under the lime light and aren't allowed to speak up and say much because they are in fact a small business owner..but with that being said, take this post however you may like.

I genuinely am sorry to the Honda Plant workers who have called Health Kneads Massage multiple times in the many months, wanting to get in same day or have come knocking on my door wanting same day. I wish I could help y'all out but my way of business isn't and won't change because you're in town.

What I am not sorry about is when you get an attitude and say things like "That's not any way to run a business." Or! "I'll just go to an Asian place then, I bet they have "more to offer" and a drink there." Or! "For that price and I don't "get it all." And much more than that has been said!

I really wasn't going to say anything. But then today when I had yet another. "I'm here working for Honda and just wanted in for today for blah blah." And got borderline harassed again because I didn't do same day. I feel a little compelled to say something.

So, to all the Honda plant workers who may read this. No hate that you're in town. But at the same time, I don't apologize for being booked out so far and that it's not to your liking.

Let it be known now, if I get one more comment I feel is inappropriate. I will hang up on you and I will no longer answer your calls!
