Yesterday was a long but rewarding day, and for those who have been following my post about Magen’s journey to the stage, I’m happy to share the outcome. Magen is 5 time first place winner and Overall Champion in both the Open and Masters Fit Model classes of the 2025 NPC Branch Warren Classic.
Magen poured every ounce of effort into this prep, trusting the process and our coach, athlete, and friend relationship every step of the way. Yesterday, she was rewarded for her focused dedication, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. I’m excited for the future and the new goals we’re going to reach together.
I want to extend my thanks to Branch for organizing a seamless event and giving these athletes a stage to showcase their hard work. My appreciation also goes out to all the judges for their expertise and commitment to recognizing excellence in every class.
A special shout-out to , Magen’s posing coach. Her guidance and attention to detail ensured that every bit of Magen’s hard work was presented with the polish and poise it deserved.
This morning, as I reflect on yesterday’s success, I’m reminded of how grateful I am for my years in the bodybuilding and fitness industry. It’s this experience that empowers me to guide others into a sport where they not only discover their potential, but also develop skills and confidence that enrich every aspect of their lives—keeping them healthy, strong, and successful in all their endeavors.

As we coast into these final days before the stage, let me say: I’m proud of the package Megan and I have put together.
This being her first rodeo, nerves are normal and I keep calm and her down reminding her that the works done. I’m not just expecting good things; I’m expecting her to own this show. It’s time to polish this diamond.

For those who don’t understand the process, here’s what’s left?

I’ll be dialing in every last detail: manipulating water, tweaking sodium, fine-tuning nutrition.

Whoever thinks going from amateur dancer to NPC fit model is easy has never tried coaching . Imagine Dory from Finding Nemo with dumbbells-yeah, that’s Magen. That’s why it’s not a walk in the park.

“To achieve a optimal physique, I advise clients to strip away body fat all bodyfat to reveal their underlying structure. I call this ‘tearing down the house to the studs to rebuild with accuracy.’ This strategic approach applies to both bodybuilding off-season and contest prep.

To maintain my current physique, I focus on precision. Here’s my formula:

- Daily caloric expenditure: 3700 calories
- Matching caloric intake: 3700 calories
- Macro balance and adherence
- 5 morning cardio sessions (30 minutes, fasted)
- 4 days strength training
- 7-8 hours rest
- Adequate micronutrients and hydration

Maintaining this balance allows me to hold my current physique. From here, making adjustments to build muscle or strip fat becomes easier.

Let’s be clear: achieving greatness requires hard work. Nothing worth having comes easily. If you’re willing to put in the effort, the results will follow.”

" As I lace up my shoes for my daily 4 a.m. treadmill session, I'm reminded why I prioritize my fitness routine. With a packed schedule of clients from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., I know that if I don't make time for my own workout, it won't happen.

That's why I always put my goals first. Achieving success, whether in fitness or any other area of life, requires a strategic plan and a consistent routine. I've heard countless excuses over the years - 'I don't have time,' 'You're a personal trainer, it's easy for you' - but I know that's not true.

I've seen people from all walks of life, from busy parents to high-powered executives, make time for their health and fitness. It's not about being a morning person or spending hours in the gym; it's about making a commitment to yourself and your well-being.
