The dust has settled. And another champion.
I want to take this moment to congratulate my athlete Agne on a contest prep that was nothing short of outstanding. Last night she stood on that stage the product of every early morning, every meal prepped and measured, every rep pushed through when she had nothing left and she was victorious. That doesn’t happen by accident.
Contest prep is the hardest thing I believe any person can do. It strips everything away and shows you exactly who you are. And let me be clear, we did this the right way. No shortcuts. No quick fixes. No pharmaceutical hand holding. In a world where people are looking for the easy button to get lean and stage ready, Agne came in and did it the old fashioned way. Hard work, discipline, zero faltering. Because at the end of the day that is still the recipe. That has always been the recipe. And it always will be.
There are a lot of tools out there today that people are leaning on to get to the finish line. And look, I understand it. But what I teach my athletes is how to get there without depending on those things. How to use food, training and discipline as the foundation so that when you walk across that stage you earned every single bit of it.
As we sat at dinner last night I told her we can go as far as you want to go. Because this isn’t the finish line. This is just the beginning.
I’ve been doing this a long time. The knowledge is still here, the strategy is still here, the nutritional precision is still here. Sharper than ever. If you’re willing to do the work I will get you to the winner’s circle. That’s not a promise, that’s my track record.
Agne I am beyond proud of you. Onward and upward. Always.
