This happened to me. I was taking a supplement thinking that I was becoming more healthier. My Rheumatologist runs a full battery of tests before every visit. One visit, he told me that drug induced lupus is something that I was battling also. He asked if I was taking any other medications or taking supplements. I told him I was taking supplements but I was not sure which one was causing it to show up in my lab results. I did my research,found out what it was and stopped taking it. If you have never heard of this before, talk to your Rheumatologist. If you don’t have one, which usually happens to us in our community, DM me and I will give you my Rheumatologist’s information. 💜

Knowing and understanding your diagnosis is half the battle. When I was diagnosed, no one explained anything to me. It is a blessing that I was studying to become a Chiropractor because I could advocate for myself. Understanding the Lupus that I am battling helped me to get off of the Lupus medications.
