Thank you to the American Cancer Society for their generous $25,000 transportation grant which will help provide eligible Harris Health patients with rides to their cancer treatment appointments. This is the second year Harris Health has received this grant.

“This is an incredible gift to receive," says Annie Titus, manager, Care Management. “Last year we were able to help 74 patients with 861 one-way Lyft rides. It is great that we can take this burden off for patients who have transportation issues. The availability of transportation assistance funds allowed us to continue to provide quality care, minimize or eliminate disruptions in care and alleviate one additional burden from our patients and families who are already dealing with stress of a cancer diagnosis."
