Therapist Spotlight! Angeline Danan, OTR, MOT, Occupational Therapist. Angeline is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist. It is her passion to provide high quality care for her clients. Angeline was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. During her senior year, she was introduced to occupational therapy and completed over 200 volunteer hours at various outpatient hand therapy clinics.
Angelineβs strong interest in hand therapy encouraged her to pursue her Masterβs in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She completed a 6-month clinical affiliation at the nationβs first hospital, Penn Medicineβs Pennsylvania Hospital, where she had experiences in acute care and acute inpatient mental health. During her acute care affiliation, she experienced various orthopedic post-operations, such as total shoulder arthroplasty. Angeline completed an elective course focusing on hand therapy interventions. In 2019, Angeline participated in a published independent study titled, βEvaluating Pain and Comfort Differences Between the Bulb and Jamar Dynamometers and Establishing Norms for the Bulb Dynamometer,β which was presentedat American Occupational Therapy Association 2019 Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
When sheβs not working, Angeline enjoys trying new restaurants, running, and yoga.
