About Dr. Morel
It can be so overwhelming and scary to struggle and not know where to turn next... but in the words of Brene Brown, “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” This sums up what I've learned my years of experience. In therapy with me, I aspire to help support you through life's challenges, achieve your personal goals, grow in self-awareness, connect with important emotions, explore foundational experiences, nurture healthy relationships, and finally, build resilience for the future. You can do this and I can help.
I've spent the last decade training in the latest psychological assessment and therapeutic techniques, preparing me to serve effectively in my roles. In 2019, I graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University (an APA Accredited Program). I specialize in mood/personality disorders, trauma recovery, relationship issues, identity development, career concerns, and psychological assessment. I think it's helpful to consider your unique history (e.g., familial, social, or institutional systems that influence you) to help us make sense of what’s going now and how we can work together to address it. I truly believe that each person is doing the best they can at any given moment with the resources and tools they have. Let's work together to explore and integrate your many strengths as you gain new insights and tools to make productive steps forward.
