Good job, Mama!! 🥹 We know that ADHD + SPD are brain and nervous system-based disorders. While conventional medicine and your traditional pediatrician may still blame a genetic imbalance of neurotransmitters, that limited scientific theory is rather outdated and incomplete. 🫠

Children who are struggling with ADHD, SPD, and even anxiety are known to have an overactive or “stuck on” sympathetic fight or flight component of their nervous system. 🧠 We call this the “gas pedal,” and it simply means that deep within their central nervous system, they are constantly “revved up” and wound up even at rest.
