The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine achieves our mission through patient services that address the needs of women of all ages, including routine obstetrics and gynecologic care, education of medical students and residents, and clinical and laboratory research conducted by our outstanding faculty. The department conducts research in both the clinical, translational, and basic science realms. To make an appointment with a BCM Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology physician call 832-826-7500. Visit http://women.texaschildrens.org/The-Pavilion/ to view our new clinic facility. The department currently has over 60 faculty members and more than 75 volunteer faculty members assisting with clinical care, residency training and research. These faculty members cover clinical responsibilities at various locations such as Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women and affiliates including Texas Children's Hospital, St. DeBakey VA Hospital, and Harris County Hospital District including its outlying clinics.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mona Romezi to the BCM Ob/Gyn family! 🎉

Dr. Romezi 👩‍⚕️ joins us from 12 years in private practice in West Houston. She uses a shared decision-making model with her patients and approaches patient care from a collaborative perspective 🩺 She enjoys the full breadth of OB/GYN care but is highly specialized and has a strong clinical focus on hormone disorders like PCOS as well as perimenopause and menopause care.

In her free time, she enjoys studio fitness activities like Pilates 🙆‍♀️ and running 🏃‍♀️, as well as spending time with her family ❤️ She is an avid gardener 👩‍🌾 and lover of dogs 🐶 Her current fur baby is named Louis.

Dr. Romezi will be joining our Gynecologic and Obstetric Specialists division as an Assistant Professor! 🤗
