Medications have certainly gotten more effective which is very exciting but weight loss surgery is still the most effective treatment option for Obesity.

It is important to understand that medications are definitely not replacing weight loss surgery altogether.

Medications may be appropriate for some while surgery may be appropriate for others.

It's important to speak with a Bariatric Surgeon who can discuss with you all of your options to know which option is going to be best in helping you achieve your goals.
