Nobody sees the 2 AM check-in. Nobody sees the gentle repositioning, the patient repetition of the same answer to the same question, the quiet sitting with someone who is afraid. Nobody sees the invisible work our caregivers do every night in every BeeHive Home across Texas.

But this family saw it. And they named it. They called it “sacred work.” A son recently wrote a letter about the care his father received during the final months of his life in one of the BeeHive Homes. And we are sharing it with the world.

There are truly no words that feel big enough to express love gratitude for the care, compassion, & love you showed our mom through every stage of her journey. You didn’t just look after her, you knew her, comforted her, & treated her with a kindness & dignity that meant a lot to us.

It takes special people to do what you do, and we will forever be thankful that our mom was surrounded by such incredible people. You made her feel safe, cared for, and loved all the way to the end, and that is a gift we will carry with us always.
