Santísima Muerte,
Most Holy Lady of Shadows and Light,
Guardian of the forgotten and protector of the faithful,
We rise with your cloak wrapped around our spirit this Monday morning.
With deep reverence, we thank you for waking us,
For the breath in our lungs,
For the quiet strength to face what is yet unseen.
We thank you for your unwavering protection,
For walking beside us through uncertainty and change.
Under this First Quarter Moon in Virgo,
As the energy calls us to build, to focus, to grow—
We ask for your guidance in aligning our steps with purpose and clarity.
Help us release what no longer serves us
And embrace what nourishes our soul and spirit.
Today, we do not pray for ourselves alone.
We extend our prayers to our brothers, sisters, and kin
In places across this country where fear now walks alongside them.
Where the weight of uniforms, sirens, and silence
Reminds them they are being watched, judged, and pushed aside.
Most Holy Death,
Wrap your sacred mantle around those facing discrimination,
Especially those affected by recent deployments and heightened enforcement.
Let them feel your presence—fierce, motherly, and just.
Shield them from harm. Strengthen their hearts.
Let no child cry out without comfort. Let no soul be cast out without hope.
Bless the workers, the elders, the mothers, the undocumented,
Those who carry their ancestors’ dreams on tired backs.
Bring peace to their paths,
And justice to the lands they walk on.
Amen.
