Please join us in celebrating Raquelle Jackson, a dedicated nurse and valued member of the Sharpview team. A proud native of Opelousas, Louisiana, Raquelle has been part of the Sharpview family for nearly a year and has consistently gone above and beyond in her role.

Raquelle is known for her love of the outdoors—she enjoys rollerblading, hiking, jigsaw puzzles, and attending concerts. Her adventurous spirit and positive energy shine through in her work every day.

She takes great pride in helping ensure the skilled unit runs smoothly and efficiently, and her commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed.

You can’t be sensitive working in long-term care—our residents will humble you and have you laughing all in one breath! 😂

One of our residents at Sharpview Residence and Rehab looked me dead in the eye and asked,
“Why you gettin’ so fat?”

I looked down, chuckled, and said,
“Well, probably because I eat too much. Looks like I need to drop about 20 pounds.”

Without missing a beat, he said,
“Just cut your head off.” 😳😂

I stared at him.
He stared at me.
Then we both burst out laughing! 🤣💥

Apparently, I’ve got a big head and some extra pounds—but hey, that’s the kind of honesty (and comedy) that makes every day here full of love, laughter, and real connection.

Being an Administrator is not for the faint of heart—but it is for the ones who can take a joke and still show up with a smile.
