Dr. James Harris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Gulf Coast Urology Team. He began at the practice in 1993 after completing medical school at UT Southwestern and urology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. Harris is a comprehensive urologist with specific interests in urological cancers, prosthetic urology, male/female urinary incontinence and complex cases. Join us in celebrating his 30th anniversary at the practice!

The famous John Bertini, MD, the founding father of Gulf Coast Urology. Dr. Bertini established the practice in 1987 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Downtown Houston, a location we continue to serve today. His interests include male infertility, sexual health and wellness, spinal cord injury/neurogenic bladder, and medical education. If you've ever had an interaction with Dr. Bertini, you know his kindness, compassion and attention to detail is unmatched.
