Aveanna patient Palmer is a joyful, energetic 6-year-old who brings so much personality into each session with OT Maranda. She and her family have built a strong, collaborative relationship with her therapist, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where Palmer continues to thrive.

Originally referred to occupational therapy for fine motor delays, Palmer has made incredible progress with her Aveanna team across multiple areas. Most recently, she has gained increased independence in her morning routine—successfully completing bathroom tasks and getting ready for school with growing confidence.

She is especially proud of her ability to brush her teeth and hair with improved attention, endurance, and accuracy! She has also made meaningful gains in her fine motor skills, including writing her first and last name and working with numbers.

Recently, Palmer earned a Bluey-themed celebration with OT Maranda to recognize her hard work and progress! We love to see the special bonds formed between our Aveanna patients and therapists. Keep up the great work, Palmer!

OT Tori and Aveanna patient Noah have worked together since 2022, when Noah was just 6 years old. Over the years, Noah has made incredible progress, fine-tuning his skills in feeding himself, managing buttons and zippers, and writing legibly. Tori's guidance and support have helped him meet all his OT goals!
