Who Are We?

If you have found yourself reading this part of the page then allow me to take a moment to say thank you for visiting Relaxx CBD. A few friends have asked, "Hey what's up with the name?" Relaxx actually has two parts to the story. While it is true that we carry a vast amount of supplements and wellness goods specifically designed to help your body achieve relaxation, we also believe that with all of the curve balls that life has to throw at us, we could all stand to "Relaxx" just a little bit more. The second part is a tribute to my father who was lovingly known for telling just about everyone he me, "Relaxx" complete with the double X's in his drawl. If you would have ever met him, he would have loved you. Just ask any one of his living twenty four grand and great grandchildren.

My wife Desiree (we call her Desi) and myself started Relaxx like most of the things in our life, out of pure passion. Six years ago we had the enthusiasm to help other quit smoking ci******es and finally lay down the pack. We started Boardwalk Elixir in Kemah, Texas and opened our doors to anyone who needed us or was just looking for a consultation. over two and a half years ago we brought CBD into Boardwalk Elixir with great response from our employees, customers and family. I'm sure that we've all herd that old cliche, "you never know what tomorrow brings." On April 9th, 2017, enjoying a cool Texas breeze on my way home from Kemah I was struck on my motorcycle a few miles from my house. I woke up in the hospital with a broken jaw, road rash and a shattered orbital socket that caused permanent blindness in my right eye. My bones healed just fine but my mental state was as broken as it could be. I would learn to deal with lots of new things in my life including getting a handle on my PTSD. My therapist and doctor both asked if I had a source to acquire some CBD oil. I laughingly said, "I sure do, it's about three feet from my desk." After one month of taking a daily sublingual tincture (drops under the tongue) my fears of leaving the house had diminished, being around crowds or friends wasn't something I was trying to avoid but rather something I started to look forward to.

My wife and I knew that we had a passion in our lives, a new goal to help others once again and Relaxx CBD was born. We absorbed ourselves in learning everything we could about this growing industry, took what we had learned and implemented that knowledge into training our own staff. We made it our mission to find the very best suppliers in the business, from flying out to meet our vendors face to face or having lunch with h**p farmers to learn about their cultivation and extraction processes. We continually demand in dependent and third party lab testing for every product that we carry at Relaxx CBD, whether it may be a pet treat, pain cream, gummy or any of the products that we order. Not only have we personally tried and tested the products but our friends and family have also gone through the rounds before any product hits the shelves. My name is Alex Rangel, my wife and I are extremely proud to be the very first purely dedicated CBD & Wellness facility in Pasadena, Texas.
