Welcome to the world little one!
First time at this hospital for me and I really enjoyed it had some wonderful nurses, and obs.

Talk about a strong first time mama! Her husband bragged about her pain tolerance and it showed! She had weeks of prodromal labor and lots of back labor.
But She did amazing made it to 10 cm without an epidural in a hospital. Where interventions are around ever corner but she stuck to her birth plan to avoid pitocin and didnt need any medications to augment labor, We did lots of movement, lots of counter pressure, position changes it was a full birth team effort.

And he made his arrival at 8:03 this morning at
9lbs 5oz

**A Week in the Life of a Doula 🫶**

Every week as a doula looks a little different — full of heart, hustle, and holding space. Here's a peek into what this past week looked like:

📄 sent out a birth support contract to a new client who just said YES to doula care! There's nothing like that initial connection and the excitement of planning together.

📞 Checked in with two third-trimester clients — . These check-ins are a mix of reassurance, strategy, and emotional support.

👶 taught a private birth class in the evening — we covered labor stages, comfort measures, and how partners can be empowered, not overwhelmed. Love watching confidence grow in real time.

📷 Did a breastfeeding photo session with a beautiful baby and her mama. — tiny hands, snuggles, and that beauty of breastfeeding.

🌙 Got a 2am text from a client feeling crampy and unsure — we talked through early labor signs and made a plan. ( I always keep my phone close for moments like this!).

🌿 Milestone Moment: My 50th Birth 🌿

Recently, I had the profound honor of attending my 50th birth as a doula. I find myself sitting in quiet reflection, overwhelmed with gratitude and awe for this journey.

Each birth I’ve supported has been its own unique universe—a world of strength, vulnerability, fierce love, and deep transformation. No two stories have been the same, yet each one has left an imprint on my heart. I carry pieces of every family, every cry, every hand held, and every moment of stillness and power within me.

Being invited into the sacred space where new life enters the world is not something I take lightly. It is humbling. It is emotional. It is a deep, soul-level privilege. I have laughed, cried, prayed, coached, and simply held space. I’ve witnessed birthing people reach deep within themselves and discover strength they didn’t know they had. I’ve seen partners become pillars of support and families grow in the most beautiful, chaotic, perfect ways.

Reaching this 50-birth milestone is not just a number. It’s 50 stories. 50 sacred journeys. 50 moments where love came roaring into the room in the form of new life.
