Women’s Day is a reminder that women deserve better answers.

For too long, women’s symptoms have been minimized, dismissed, or explained away.

1️⃣ Fatigue
2️⃣ Weight struggles
3️⃣ Hormone imbalances
4️⃣ PCOS
5️⃣ Fertility challenges

Too often the response has been “everything looks normal.”

But many of these symptoms are connected by something that is rarely measured or discussed early enough. Insulin.

At Insara, we believe women deserve more than reassurance. They deserve science backed solutions and a deeper understanding of their metabolic health.

By starting with insulin, we can begin addressing the root causes behind many of the symptoms women experience, not just the outcomes.

Because women’s health deserves better questions, better research, and better answers.

Happy International Women’s Day 💙

You’re not failing. You were given incomplete information.

For years, women with PCOS have been told:

• Just lose weight.
• Your labs are normal.
• You need more willpower.
• Carbs are the enemy.
• Skipping meals will help.
• Feeling exhausted is just part of it.

These aren’t solutions. They’re myths.

And the common thread behind them?
Insulin is rarely tested. Rarely explained. Rarely addressed.

When insulin stays elevated:
– Weight loss feels impossible
– Cravings intensify
– Fatigue becomes constant
– Labs look “normal” while symptoms persist

PCOS is not a willpower problem.
It’s a metabolic one.

At Insara, we start where most care stops — with insulin.

Because when you lower insulin, you change the trajectory.

✨ Lower insulin. Elevate your health. ✨

Think you need to figure out your “type” of PCOS first? 👀

You may have heard there are 4 types:

1️⃣ Insulin Resistant PCOS
2️⃣ Inflammatory PCOS
3️⃣ Adrenal PCOS
4️⃣ Post-Pill PCOS

These categories can help explain what’s driving symptoms.

But here’s what most people don’t realize:

They overlap.

And there is one common denominator that shows up again and again…

Insulin.

High insulin can drive hormone imbalance.
It can fuel inflammation.
It can amplify stress responses.
It can quietly sit in the background while symptoms build.

That’s why at Insara, we start with insulin first.

Because when you lower insulin, you address the mechanism — not just the label.

Start with the root. Start with insulin.

“Your labs are normal.”

That’s the story so many women with PCOS are told.

They’re dealing with fatigue, weight gain, cravings,
irregular periods, acne, mood swings....and they’re
told everything looks fine.

But here’s the problem:

-Glucose and A1c can look totally normal even when
insulin is elevated.

-And in PCOS, that’s the norm, not the exception.

Up to 95% of women with PCOS have elevated insulin.

-But insulin isn’t part of the diagnostic criteria.

-It’s not routinely tested.

-And most patients have never even heard the word.

At Lilli Health, we’re building a new model of care, one
that finally includes insulin in the conversation.

Because understanding insulin changes everything.

Weight loss was never about calories.
It was about insulin.

We’re honored to share that Lilli Health and a Lilli patient are featured in 's World , highlighting how a Low Insulin Lifestyle™ helped Lillie lose over 70 pounds and keep it off for 3 years without surgery, injections, or calorie counting.

This story reflects what insulin-focused research has shown for years.
When insulin comes down, metabolism works with you, not against you.

This isn’t about willpower.
It’s about physiology.
And it’s time insulin stopped being ignored.

PCOS is classified as a reproductive disorder, but that’s only because that’s where the symptoms show up first.

But the root cause is metabolic. It’s insulin resistance.

Insulin is what drives the high androgens.

Insulin is what disrupts ovulation.

Insulin is what contributes to weight gain, fatigue, acne, inflammation, and cravings.
PCOS doesn’t start in the ovaries. It starts in your metabolism.

If we keep treating it like a reproductive problem, we’ll keep missing the opportunity to truly help patients.

It’s time to change the way we think about PCOS.

And at Lilli Health, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Up to 95% of women with PCOS have
elevated insulin levels.

And yet…
Elevated insulin isn’t part of the diagnosis.
It’s not part of the treatment.
It’s barely even discussed.

Instead, we treat the symptoms of high insulin levels:

• Irregular periods
• Acne
• Hair loss on the scalp
• Unwanted hair growth
• Weight gain
• Cravings
• Fatigue
• Mood swings
• Trouble sleeping
• Water retention

These aren’t random.
They’re the result of chronic high insulin.

We don’t need more Band-Aids.
We need to test insulin.
We need to treat insulin.
Because when insulin goes down, these symptoms
improve.

It’s time the guidelines caught up.
