If you're scheduled for a surgical appointment with us, here's what you can expect — Dr. Quinn walks us through a biopsy:

“Any suspicious lesions that we believe to be cancerous—we will biopsy the area. We use lidocaine, and after that you won’t feel anything but pressure. We take a small portion of the skin. Sometimes there are stitches involved. You just wash the area with soap and water and cover it with a band-aid. The area should heal on it's own.”

Our goal is to keep you comfortable and informed every step of the way. Biopsies are a simple, safe procedure we do right in the office to ensure your skin stays healthy and protected.
