Last weekโs Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding Compounders on Capitol Hill was a tremendous success! With 200+ visits to members of Congress, the important role compounding plays in patient care was discussed.
One of the key topics addressed was protecting patient access to compounded desiccated thyroid extract, ensuring continued availability of this vital therapy. Conversations like these make a real difference in shaping policy and raising awareness of the importance of pharmacy compounding.
Team PCCA was proud to support this event and attend the Congressional visits alongside our members. It was wonderful to reconnect with colleagues, share ideas and come together with so many passionate advocates! ๐
