*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: THURSDAY JUNE 26, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: SERVE GOD WITH AN UNDYING LOVE*
*TEXT EPHESIANS 6:23-24*

23 Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

*REFLECTION*
Today, as we conclude our series of meditation on the letter to Ephesians, I wish to sincerely thank you all for following me throughout the period of the study and meditation on Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. It's been an interesting spiritual journey. I also thank you all for all your comments, prayers, and words of encouragement. I thank specially those of you who took it upon yourselves to be sharing the daily meditation on different platforms across the globe. The testimonies from different countries are amazing. I wholeheartedly appreciate you all. May God bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

It is interesting to note that Paul started this letter with greetings of peace and grace in chapter 1, and he also concludes it with greetings of peace and grace to the believers in Ephesus, *and all who love the love with an undying love.*

Paul’s life was a typical example of a believer who loves the Lord with an undying love. Even persecution and imprisonment could not kill his love for God or diminish his zeal for serving Him.

As a child of God, is there anything that can quench the fire of the Holy Spirit in your life? Is there any circumstance that can rob you of your peace in Christ Jesus? Is there any situation that is capable of whittling your love for Christ and commitment to serving Him. Is there any circumstance that can water down your zeal for Christ?

An example of an undying love for God can be seen in the covenant love and relationship between Ruth and Naomi.

*But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.* (Ruth 1:16).

This is an example of an undying love that Paul was talking about. Remember that Christians in that era faced a lot of untold hardship and persecution on account of their faith in Christ. Paul, in his farewell message in this pastoral letter, encouraged the believers to be unyielding in their faith and undying in their love for Christ.

As we conclude this meditation on the letter to Ephesians, I also encourage you to be unyielding and undying in your faith in Christ and love for Him. Just as Paul encouraged the Corinthian believers:

*Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.* (1 Corinthians 15:58).

The type of love that God wants us to have for Him is described in Deuteronomy 6:5

*You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.*

Let nothing come between you and God. Let your love and devotion to Him be absolute, total, and undivided.

In these days of increased persecution and intense hatred for believers all over the world, we need to demonstrate an undying faith and love for Christ.

We need to have the kind of spirit and motivation that Paul had when he said:

*For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.* (Philippians 1:21).

Dear child of God, let your faith in Christ be fervent, and your love for Him be undying.

*Further Study*
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, please, keep my love for You alive and give me the grace to serve You with my whole heart, all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. I receive grace today to serve God with a fervent zeal and an undying love in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. Lord Jesus, keep me strong in You that nothing will separate me from Your everlasting love for me. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: WEDNESDAY JUNE 25, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: TYCHICUS, A MODEL OF SERVICE BEHIND THE SCENES.*
*TEXT EPHESIANS 6:21-22*

But that you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you; 22 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.

*REFLECTION*
It is not every believer that is meant to be a popular Apostle, Evangelist, Pastor, Missionary, or Teacher of the Word. There are ministers who are called to serve behind the scenes and yet make a powerful impact in the body of Christ. Tychicus was a significant but often overlooked figure in the New Testament. He served as a trusted companion, messenger, and minister in the early Church, particularly in support of the Apostle Paul.

His name appears in five New Testament references, showing his consistent presence and usefulness in Paul’s ministry.

In our text today, he was referred to as a *faithful minister and beloved brother.*

What a powerful recommendation and a wonderful testimony!
How would you be described in your church, ministry, or fellowship? What role do you play for the church and the brethren? Tychicus was not a popular believer or disciple like Peter, Paul, Timothy, and others, but his impact in the New Testament Church was powerfully felt. How useful and reliable are you to the Church of God today? You may not be a popular preacher, pastor, or evangelist, but you can still make a powerful impact with your personal sacrifices, commitment, dedication, and availability.

Tychicus was Paul’s emissary. He carried some of his Pastoral Letters, especially Ephesians and Colossians, to the churches and gave personal updates from Paul while encouraging the believers.

In Acts 20:4, he was listed among Paul’s traveling companions and ministry aids.

He was a trusted team member in mission and charity efforts of the New Testament Church, as well as an assistant pastor. Paul was willing to leave him in charge of churches temporarily, meaning that he must have been theologically sound and capable of pastoring or overseeing the flock in the absence of key leaders like Timothy and Titus.

Tychicus exemplifies faithfulness, reliability, and humble service in the Church of God. Though not a high-profile apostle, he played a critical supporting role, like carrying epistles that now form part of the Bible, encouraging churches, and standing in for key leaders when needed. His life is a model for all who serve behind the scenes in the body of Christ today.

You may be endowed with the grace to serve in an assisting capacity in the Church and still bear remarkable fruits with your service. You may be called as a support staff to a man of God and still make a lasting impact in the kingdom of God. You may be a 'Tychicus' to a popular minister, pastor, or evangelist. You may be the Tychicus in your local parish, ministry, or fellowship. Serve God with gladness and faithfulness.

*Further Study*
Colossians 4:7-8
Tychicus will tell you all the news about me. He is a dear brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord. I
am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, I dedicate my life to You today to serve faithfully and diligently in Your Church and be an encouragement to the brethren, just like Tychicus, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. Give me the grace to serve faithfully behind the scenes and be a blessing to the Church, and also bring glory to Your name, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. Lord God Almighty, help me to live a sacrificial life for the sake of the gospel and always be willing and available for kingdom service, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: MONDAY JUNE 23, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: PRAY FOR BOLDNESS TO PREACH THE WORD*
*TEXT 6:19-20*

Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

*REFLECTION*
In our text today, Paul asked for prayer for himself, that whenever he preachs, words may be given him so that he will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.

We need to receive revelation of the word and divine enablement to declare the word of God with boldness. Paul was already in chains while writing this letter as we can see from verse 20 of our text. Paul was preaching the gospel in an era when preaching Jesus Christ was an offense. Both the government and the society were against the preaching of the gospel. Paul was in prison for doing so, but though in chains and in prison, he was not discouraged.

We also live in an era where the preaching of the gospel is offensive to many people. Some governments make laws that make it difficult to freely preach the gospel. In some countries like the UK, Belgium and some other European countries, people get arrested by the Police for preaching in public places.

The Revisionists have also influenced some church leadership in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and some other Western countries so much so that preaching sound doctrine is prohibited 🚫 because it sounds offensive to g**s and le****ns. Preachers and pastors who preach against homos*xuality and same s*x marriage could get arrested and even imprisoned like Paul for preaching the truth.

You can understand why Paul asked for prayer for boldness to preach the undiluted word of God fearlessly.

It's all part of the spiritual battle we are fighting for which we should put on the whole armour of God.

Are you living in an environment that is opposed to the gospel and Christianity? Don’t give up. Know that it is a spiritual battle. Is your government cracking down on preachers of the gospel and making obnoxious laws that are anti Christ in nature? Remember we are fighting a spiritual battle. We need to pray for one another to receive boldness to preach the sound doctrine and generally uphold Biblical Orthodoxy despite the opposition we may be facing.

*Further Study*
Acts 4:29
And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, please give me the boldness to preach Your word as I should, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. LORD God Almighty, please remember those who are facing all kinds of threats and persecution for preaching Your word, deliver them from the hands of their persecutors and give them victory, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I receive boldness today to preach the word of God without fear or intimidation, in the nwme of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: SUNDAY JUNE 22, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: PRAY WITHOUT CEASING*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:18*

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

*REFLECTION*
One of the weapons of warfare is prayer. Jesus demonstrated the importance and urgency of prayer throughout His Ministry on earth. His prayer life so challenged His disciples that on a certain occasion, one of the disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray. (Luke 11:1). Apart from that, He personally challenged them to a life of prayer in the garden of Gethsemane, when He asked them a challenging question: *could you not keep watch for one hour?* (Mark 14:37).

Prayer warfare is an intensive warfare which must be engaged with intentionality.

Our text today says: *And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. '* All kinds of prayers and requests' means we are not limited to any stereotypes. And there is no problem that we cannot bring before God in prayer, no matter how small or big it may seem. Again, you can pray silently or loudly depending on the occasion and environment. You can also pray in tongues or in any language you know how to speak, including your local dialect. You can pray standing, prostrating, kneeling or sitting. You can pray with songs, hymns and psalms. You can pray with a broken heart, heavy burden and tears. You can also pray with lamentations or praises as the occasion demands. You can also pray with or without fasting depending on the occasion and situation. The word of God says we pray with all manner of prayers and requests. God is ever ready to answer our prayers and intercesion. The most important of all is that you pray as you are led, and you pray with faith.

All manner of prayers also includes prayer for different occasions including prayer for healing, deliverance, open doors, breakthrough, warfare prayers, prayer of thanksgiving, etc.

We have some examples of men and women who prayed fervently in the Bible and their prayers changed situations. For instance, the Bible said that:

*Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.* (James 5:17).

Esther also prayed fervently with fasting as we read in the scriptures:

*Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”*
Esther 4:16

However, you cannot pray effectively without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps our prayer life. That is why the Bible says:

*Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.*
(Romans 8:26).

Are you facing a situation right now?
Don’t fear. Don't give up. Pray. God answers prayers.

*Further Study*
Isaiah 62:6-7
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may pray fervently in the Spirit on all occasions , in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. Holy Spirit of God, please revive my prayer life, that I may not be weak in prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. I will not give up praying. I will continue to pray until something happens, in the nwme of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: SATURDAY JUNE 21, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:16*

Take the helmet of salvation and *the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.*

*REFLECTION*
One of the weapons of warfare is a sword. Sword is both defensive and offensive armour. However, the sword we are talking about today is not a physical sword, but rather, a spiritual sword. Our text today calls it the sword of the Spirit.

Interestingly, this sword of the Spirit is the word of God. The word of God is a very powerful offensive and defensive weapon of spiritual warfare.

Jesus demonstrated how to use this sword of the Spirit in Matthew 4:4, 7 & 10 when on each occasion of the spiritual battle, He said, *"It is written."*

The spiritual battle requires knowledge of the word of God. Oftentimes, we make a lot of mistakes in our spiritual warfare because we lack knowledge of the word of God.

Some Christians think that prayer alone without knowledge of the word of God is enough. The word of God enhances your prayer life.

In spiritual battles, you use the word of God to overcome many circumstances. For instance, when fighting a spiritual battle for healing and deliverance, you use the word of God as follows:

*He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.* Psalm 107:20

When fighting the battle against backwardness and stagnation, you use the word of God:

*This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.*
Joshua 1:8

The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, is a weapon of conquering sin. For instance, the word says:

Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
Psalm 119:11

Your effective use of the sword is a product of how knowledgeable you are in the word of God.

The word of God in the hand of a Christian is like a sword in the hand of a warrior.

The word of God which is the sword of the Spirit is also used in fighting the battle of the soul of an unbeliever.
The Bible says:

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

The Holy Spirit Whose sword the word of God is, activates the power in the word to break sinners, convict them, and bring them to salvation, just as it happened in Acts 2:37. Use your sword effectively.

*Further Study*
Jeremiah 23:29
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

*Prayer*
1. Holy Spirit of God, I thank You for Your sword which is the word of God. I receive this sword today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. I activate the power in the word of God today in my life over sickness, principalities and powers, sinful habits, near success syndrome, stagnation and faliure, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. Holy Spirit of God, please inspire the desire and hunger for the word of God in my life, that I may grow thereby and stand strong as a soldier of the cross, in the nwme of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: FRIDAY JUNE 20, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: THE HELMET OF SALVATION*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:16*

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

*REFLECTION*
In battle, the helmet is primarily used for protection. It is a piece of armour worn on the head to defend against blows from weapons such as swords, clubs, arrows, bullets, or spears.

In our text today, the Bible talks about the helmet ⛑️ 🪖 of salvation. We cannot engage in spiritual warfare without first receiving salvation. The head is a very important part of the body. The head that should wear the crown of victory must first wear a helmet of salvation. The head that did not first wear a helmet of salvation to receive bullets of attacks of persecution, trials, and tribulation cannot wear a crown of life and victory at last. Remember that Jesus Christ wore a crown of thorns at the Cross for us to wear a crown of life.

This means that for us to effectively engage in spiritual battles, we must first make peace with Christ and be born again. Are you born again? Have you received Jesus Christ into your life as your LORD and Saviour?

*Further Study*
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

*Prayer*
1. LORD Jesus, I thank You for wearing the crown of thorns for me to wear the crown of glory.
2. I receive You into my life today and confess You as my LORD and Saviour.
3. Give me a helmet of salvation today so I can wear a crown of life on the last day, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: THE IRON DOME OF FAITH*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:16*

Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

*REFLECTION*
The Iron Dome is an Israeli mobile all-weather air defense system designed to intercept and destroy rockets and artillery shells fired from distances of 4 to 70 kilometres away.
Faith is an all-weather spiritual defensive armour that intercepts and destroys rockets, and artillary shells fired at us by Satan and his demonic agents. His mission is always to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10).

Our text today tells us to take the shield of faith with which we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

The wicked one fires spiritual rockets and ballistic missiles at us every time, but we are not destroyed because he hasn't got the capacity to destroy us. That is why the Bible said that we are *persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.* (2 Corinthians 4:9).

We receive a lot of attacks, persecution, trials, and tribulation on account of our faith in Christ, but we are not destroyed because of our shield of faith, which is our spiritual 'Iron Dome'.

There are many overwhelming persecution and attacks that we constantly receive as we journey in this world as Christian Pilgrims. Let us activate our spiritual defense system and quench all these fiery 🔥 bullets and assaults of the wicked one with our shield of faith. Don't let the enemy weaken your faith. He knows your faith destroys him. He knows how powerful your faith is. He knows your faith makes a mockery of him. Therefore, hold on to your faith. You will not die in this battle. You are an overcomer.

*Further Study*
1 John 5:4
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, I thank You for giving me victory in Christ Jesus. I will remain victorious in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. My faith is activated by the word of God, and no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. My Iron Dome of faith is my spiritual defensive system. All the spiritual rockets and missiles fired at me by the enemy are Dead on Arrival, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. I cannot die in this battle. I will reach my home and be gloriously welcomed in glory, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: WEDNESDAY JUNE 18, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: PREACH THE GOSPEL*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:15*

And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

*REFLECTION*
Preaching of the gospel is the fulfillment of the Great Commission and a divine mandate that every believer must carry out with every sense of duty and intentionality. The gospel is a very essential weapon of our spiritual warfare because when we preach the gospel, souls are released from the captivity of Satan to total freedom. The gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ is the gospel of peace because, through it, lives are saved, transformed, and redeemed.

It is called the gospel of peace because sinners are changed to saints through it. It is the gospel of peace because it is the message that sinners receive and are reconciled to God. Our text said, *And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.* Many believers do not understand the urgency of going to preach the gospel of peace and reconciliation, just like Jonah. Preaching of the gospel is launching an offensive on the camp of the enemy. While the breastplate is a defensive armour, the gospel is an offensive weapon. Your feet must be ready to spread the gospel and so shine the light of God in the darkness of the world, for those that satan has locked in the darkness to see the light of God and be delivered from the powers of darkness. That is why the word of God said: *Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.* (2 Timothy 4:2).

Anything that discourages you from witnessing and winning souls must be dealt with because preaching of the gospel of peace is a command from our Master, the LORD of Hosts.

*Further Study*
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

*Prayer*
1. Father, please inspire me to preach the gospel of peace with passion for souls, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. Prepare my feet and empower it to go preaching the gospel of peace for the salvation and deliverance of souls from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light and life, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. I will not be tired of preaching the gospel until my work is done on earth, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: TUESDAY JUNE 17, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: PROTECT YOUR HEART*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:14*

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, *having put on the breastplate of righteousness,*

*REFLECTION*
In continuation of verse 14 of our text, Paul talks about another very important armour of God which is the breastplate of righteousness. The breastplate is a defensive armour that protects the heart, lungs, and other essential internal structures from the impact of weapons like swords, arrows, and bullets.

The heart is a very essential part of the body and if it is left unprotected, it will be vulnerable to injuries that might possibly lead to death. The Bible calls it the breastplate of righteousness.

Your heart as a Christian needs protection because it is Satan's most targeted part of your spiritual life. Jesus said in Matthew 5:8, *Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.* This tells us how important our heart is to God and how important it is to the enemy to attack it. If your heart is not pure, you will definitely not see God. The implication of not seeing God is sentence to eternal punishment in hell fire. That is why Satan is constantly targeting our hearts and attacking it through immorality, ranging from immoral and dirty thoughts to pollute our hearts. He also entered some movie producers to write scripts that pollute the heart through s*xual immorality. That is why we have a lot of dirty, polluting, offensive, and immoral content on the TV and social media today. He also empowers the marketers to invest millions of dollars on the promtion, marketing and distribution of those content all over the world so as to corrupt, pollute, and destroy as many hearts and lives as possible today including believers. What type of content do you watch as a believer? Some Christians are still watching 'BB Naija' and some other contents that are harmful to your heart as a child of God. Satan has also influenced the fashion industry to produce fashion that are seductive and promote s*xual immorality.

These things are targeted at the heart, to pollute it, corrupt and kill one's spirituality, and relationship with God. You need to protect your heart if you must last in this spiritual battle and survive it. Satan is training and empowering some musicians to write, sing, and produce musicals that promote s*xual immorality. Their dressing, dancing, and lyrics are all seductive, and that is the purpose. Incidentally, and sadly though, the world calls such musicians celebrities and models.

A child of God should understand the meaning of 2 Corinthians 2:11 *lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.*

Your heart is the target, to pollute it. What about po*******hy and sponsorship of pornograpic contents on the social media, emails and websites. Today, po*******hy has deceptively taken over simple social media platforms like WhatsApp with the sharing of dirty pictures and 's*xtexting'. This has broken trust in many marriages today.

That is why as a soldier of the cross, you must put on the breastplate of righteousness so your heart which is Satan's most targeted object will be divinely protected. Do not get deceived. Don't play to your enemy's galary.

*Further Study*
Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, s*xual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

*Prayer*
1. Father Almighty, please protect my heart from the targetted and intentional attacks of the enemy, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. I refuse to yield my heart to satan, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
3. I wear my breastplate of righteousness today to protect my heart from the enemy, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

*DAILY MEDITATION FROM THE LETTER TO THE EPHESIANS*
*DATE: MONDAY JUNE 16, 2025*
*TOPIC FOR TODAY: THE BELT OF TRUTH*
*TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:14*

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

*REFLECTION*
Paul began describing the armour of God by first talking about the belt of truth. Jesus Christ is the truth. You can't fight the spiritual battle without knowing Him. Jesus said: *I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes the Father except through Me.* (John 14:6).

Jesus Christ is the Way to the Father, therefore, you can't possibly engage in spiritual battle without Him, otherwise you would be fighting alone.

In John 8:32, Jesus said:
*And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”*

One needs to be free from satanic bo***ge and manipulation before one could fight the spiritual battle. And for you to receive this freedom, you have to know the Truth. It is the knowledge of the Truth that sets you free. Anyone who does not know the Truth is still living in bo***ge, and anyone who fights this battle without knowing the Truth will end up like the seven sons of Sceva as recorded in the scriptures:

Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. (Acts 19:14-16).
