One of the most aggravating clichés I have ever encountered is "Time heals all wounds." Taking a passive action inferred in those words only buries the problem and comes up later in a worse form. Deal with problems when they occur, and if you need help ask for it.

There is a lot of thought around addiction that puts it in a disease model. This prevalent in pop culture and among many healthcare providers. Abba Psychotherapy Group does not subscribe to this idea. Abba Psychotherapy Group view addiction as a response to trauma that is not resolved, which is used to cover up the pain of the trauma. If addiction no matter what form, is something that is disrupting your life, there is help. Abba Psychotherapy Group is open to hear your concerns and help direct you to a place of resolution.

We help men work through feelings, trauma, and depression. Instead of just stuffing it deep down.

We specialize in counseling services for men and older adolescent males. We treat emotional needs resulting from trauma and emotional injury, and we focus on services and methods that add to your manhood rather than take away from it.

We offer a man the opportunity to delve into the hinderances that are preventing him from living as the man he desires. These hinderances take on many forms that often result in a façade that is not real, nor does he know how to shed.

Hi, this is Matt Miller LPC, founder of Abba Psychotherapy Group, LLC . My goal with Abba is to provide men a place to work through issues and problems, but to do so with respect and to honor them and their struggles.

You don't need to give up your "Man Card" in order to participate in and benefit from therapy.

We don't blame or shame anyone here, we just focus on working through problems and finding solutions - so that our clients can live fulfilled, happy, loving, and contented lives the way God intends for us all. Some common issues that we address include PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, sexuality, and relationship issues. We provide 1-1 counseling sessions in person or remotely, We custom tailor our treatments for each individual client. Common psychotherapy methods we employ include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR Therapy, AEDP, and other treatment tools as the situations require. If you are a man who has suffered some trauma or are feeling unfulfilled in your life and want to resolve it, then I'd be glad to help you move past coping skills and into resolving problems.
