As most of you know, we are opening our first boarding home 🏡 soon! We are CURRENTLY ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF ANY KIND! Most of these individuals have little to nothing and we want to make their living space as nice and comfortable as possible. Items we are in immediate need of are:
Towels
Twin size linen and comforters
Male and female toiletries
Good condition furniture
Dining tables and chairs
Twin size beds
Dishes/ silverware/pots
Cleaning supplies
Adult Clothes of all sizes

There is a so many young people who are homeless after exiting foster care. Research has found that between 31% and 46% of youth aging out of foster care are homeless by age 26. And 25% are homeless 12 months after aging of of foster care. The risk of homelessness was particularly higher for Black youth exiting foster care. We have an opportunity now to help end this path and make a positive impact on youth and young adults . At Angels of BC, we focus on providing supervised and unsupervised independent living to young adults 18-23 that have aged out of foster care and are transitioning into adulthood. We want to focus on providing stable, affordable housing, while assisting residents with the tools necessary to flourish independently in society. Resources include; financial literacy skills, employment and education resources, time management skills, developing and maintaining meaningful connections
