Welcome to my page and thank you for stopping by!

My name is Monica McDermott and I have recently opened up my private practice. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to serve those in my community. I have been in the field of counseling for almost 10 years gaining a variety of experience in order to better serve my clients. I am committed to work along side you in a holistic approach to help work through issues and life’s challenges. I specialize in working with the following diagnosis: major depression, bi-polar, anxiety, crisis interventions, mood disorders and behavioral issues using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy , Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.

I enjoy working alongside my clients to identify their goals and formulate a plan for achieving them.
