Baby john is 21 days old (3 Weeks as of yesterday ) Like what! How are we three weeks into being Mom of two boys already!!!?? He is 10 lbs 3 oz..... as of today. Weighed him at the Traditional Roots Midwifery

He loves sleeping with mama.... and loves to eat 😂
and Big brother loves to snuggle him. Moose is extra protective and on guard since he arrived. Bear and Miss daisy are happy he cant walk or mess with them yet. But, they love laying near him.

John unless he has gas calms down instantly in mommas arms and very quick when in daddys arms.
We love you big boy!

I find myself wanting all the babies since having John and holding onto these newborn snuggles as long as possible. (i know how fast it goes ) 😭🥹

In the early morning hours… Jesus was passed around from one leader to the next questioned, judged, and falsely accused.

He stood before Annas, Caiaphas, Pilate, and Herod… and not one of them found real fault in Him.

Yet still
He was beaten.
He was whipped.
He was mocked.

Soldiers placed a crown of thorns on His head… not as honor, but to make fun of Him.
They laughed. They humiliated Him. They treated Him like He was nothing.

All while He was completely innocent.

He didn’t fight back.
He didn’t defend Himself.

He endured it… for us.

It’s heavy to think about but, it’s also a reminder of just how deep His love really is.



He died for Me, my sons, my family, and YOU ✝️

this though...... Im on both sides of this..... and I still wish i never had to end up being cut open. Im happy my babies r here and alive but my first birth should of never ended up
like it did for Bruce or I....
Too many things were done wrong and pushed on me and it happens so much. Its too common.

C sections are hard and Not easier. Im not a fan of the recovery and im doing all i can to heal right for the best possible outcome for more kids and a naturally delivery....

April is C-section awareness month. If you follow this page, you know that I talk a lot about the csection rate in our country. 34% up to 50% at some institutions. My prayer is that this changes while I am still alive to scream about it. The WHO states that anything over a 15% csection rate, "THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF IMPROVED MATERNAL OR NEWBORN MORTALITY." Surgical birth saves lives BUT the higher rates do NOT equal better outcomes.

I swear the SECOND I put him in his bassinet or the Boppy on the chair… he wakes up screaming like a damn pterodactyl 😂
