Weill Cornell College of Medicine. Dr. Incavo specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery and the correction of failed joint replacement surgeries. He also treats arthritis of the hip and knees nonsurgically. Committed to excellence, he provides orthopedic care of the highest quality and is particularly interested in minimizing postoperative pain associated with joint replacement surgery and improving long term outcomes. Along with the treatment of immediate as well as chronic problems, he strives to integrate prevention in all of his treatment plans to avoid future problems. Dr. Incavo has been listed in the “Guide to America’s Top Surgeons” and has written more than 80 scientific articles and book chapters on hip and knee replacement surgery. He is one of only a few surgeons worldwide to be a member of both The Hip Society and The Knee Society, and he regularly presents his work at the national meetings of these and other orthopedic societies. Dr. Incavo has taught residents and fellows his hip and knee surgery replacement techniques for over 20 years and frequently serves as an invited lecturer for other orthopedic departments. He has worked with the orthopedic industry and holds multiple patents on improved medical devices. He also serves as a primary referral source for complex reconstructive hip and knee problems.
