Aaliyah’s scar tells a story without saying a word… that her heart was opened, not once but twice, and was held and healed. That she has fought as a newborn and is still fighting. Her zipper isn't something to hide. It's something she wears with strength, a badge of everything she's been through and everything she's overcome. That scar is proof of her strength, from God, proof of the doctors who fought for her, and proof that she is here.

I’m back from camp and had the BEST TIME EVER!!!!!! 💕 Rock climbing, zip lining, big swing, yummy food, and new besties (heart warriors 💖). Aaliyah is going on an adventure this weekend. She gets to experience a camp that is just for heart warriors and their siblings. This camp is ran by nurses, doctors, and other volunteers. We are so grateful that she gets to experience this. Please pray for everyone as they travel, and that they have an amazing weekend!! 🙏 ❤️💙

After finishing dinner, I was able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks, which provided a perfect ending to my first day at Disney World! ❤️
