Feeling tired after a long day is normal.
Suddenly, overwhelming fatigue is different.

Extreme fatigue that comes on quickly can be linked to medical issues like infections, blood sugar changes, medication reactions, or problems with the heart or lungs.

Warning signs include dizziness, confusion, weakness, or trouble breathing.
These symptoms should not be ignored.

If someone becomes suddenly exhausted and can’t function normally, calling 911 helps EMS assess what’s happening and begin care right away.

Stomach pain is common.
Severe abdominal pain is different.

Abdominal emergencies don’t always look dramatic at first.
Waiting can allow symptoms to worsen.

If pain is severe or feels different than normal, calling 911 allows EMS to assess and begin care right away.
