This will be the 9th and final piece from my Molecularization series. Some of these radial elements are what I’ve been making in the time lapse vids I’ve been posting recently. I’m getting down to the last little bits of the beach girls gift wrap source material so I’m having to use every little detail of the original images to fill this panel. This piece has the least beach girls because I’ve run out of them. All of the radials in this piece are just little pieces of beach backgrounds. By the time this one is finished, all of the beach girls source material I bought twenty years ago will be gone forever, but I’m really happy with what this novelty gift wrap turned into. Thanks for following the progress, it’s been a little over 10 months since I first started posting about this series! I’ll be posting the rest of the series in the coming weeks.

Here’s another classic from 2005. For those that have been following along, this was the very first version of work I made 16 years ago, with the same yoga boys from the Reincarnating series I did earlier this year. It’s neat to see the difference 16 years can make in the way I’m handling the same materials.

I recently found a DVD with all these pieces I got professionally scanned from the early 2000’s. It’s fun to revisit these older worlds and try to remember where my head was at the time.

Yoga boys reincarnating, self portrait, illustrating fully open third-eye and crown chakras…..
Late last year I got commissioned to make a piece using these yoga boys which are actually left over from another piece from 2010. I decided to go ahead and cut up and use all of the remaining yoga boys in my stash. I ended up cutting a little more than 1,300 yoga boys and instead of making just the one commission I made five pieces. This was the first one of five.
