🛍️✨ Holiday Outing at The Guild Shop! ✨🛍️

Last week, our residents enjoyed a festive shopping trip to The Guild Shop — and it was extra special for one heartwarming reason. Not only did we browse for holiday treasures, but we also visited one of our very own residents who has volunteered there for 51 years!

She even served as the very first director of The Guild Shop, making the visit a meaningful celebration of her dedication and legacy.

We love creating moments that connect our residents to the places and stories that matter most. ❤️

Our recent outing to Eugene’s Gulf Coast Cuisine was an absolute treat! 🍤🦪 Our residents couldn’t get enough of the delicious food — the oysters were definitely the star of the show.

And here’s something special — three residents who discovered over lunch that they had once lived just a block or two apart in River Oaks before moving here. They were neighbors and never even knew it… until now! 💛

🎃 Halloween at The Village of River Oaks! 👻

Our residents. guests and team members had a spooktacular time at this year’s Halloween Winedown on the Terrace — a beautiful day filled with music, laughter, and festive spirit! 🎶✨ Guest performer Cindy Thomas wowed the crowd with a wide range of Halloween-themed favorites, while our costume contest crowned Indiana Jones as the grand prize winner! 🏆

The fun continued with our Halloween Costume Parade for Pets, featuring 40 residents and 7 adorable dogs strutting their stuff in style! 🐾🎃 The winning pets’ owners took home Terrace Café gift cards — and of course, plenty of bragging rights!

It was a day full of smiles, community and creativity — a perfect reminder of how much fun it is to Live Life Well® at The Village of River Oaks!🍷🕸️

💗 The Village of River Oaks, The Village of Southampton and The Village of Tanglewood were proud to come together as a Platinum Sponsor for the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation Luncheon in support of the fight against breast cancer.

This meaningful event brought our teams together to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and celebrate continued progress in breast cancer research and awareness.

We were truly inspired by guest speaker Matt Iseman, host of American Ninja Warrior, who shared his own powerful journey with cancer — a reminder of the strength, resilience and hope that unite us all.
