Today and every day, we give thanks to God for His grace and blessing to us. We are nobody without Jesus Christ. St. Dominic Village’s residents, family and friends celebrated Thanksgiving Day with Mass at Warren Chapel and at the Rehabilitation Nursing Center. Thanks to Rev. Richard Wahl, CSB and to Rev. Today on Veterans Day, we pause to honor the men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication.

At St. Dominic Village, a Catholic Retirement Community, we’re especially mindful of the veterans among our residents and staff — individuals whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire the spirit of compassion, community, and faith that guide our mission.

We thank all who have worn the uniform and pray for those who continue to serve. Your example reminds us that true leadership begins with service to others.

Tonight, we had one of the Speaker Series from the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Nicole McZeal Walters gave us a great reflection on “Finding God in Everyday Moments” in which the residents of St. Dominic are living example. 🙏🏽

As community of faith we just celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Some of our pets were blessed as great companions and creation of our Lord. Thanks to our friends/volunteers of the Order of Malta for their uncondicional love and support to our community of St. Dominic Village. 🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽

Who knew bingo could be THIS sweet? 🍭 Gumdrop Bingo = smiles, giggles, and lots of willpower! Clear your card, not your candy stash! Our seniors couldn’t stop laughing (or trying not to eat the game pieces 🤭).”
