Psychotropic genetic testing, when indicated, is ordered as a means of individualizing treatment selection to the patient’s unique biological characteristics. As the owner and treating pychiatrist at The Progressive Psychiatry TMS Center, I am excited to offer NeuroStar TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), a non-pharmacologic FDA approved treatment for patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have not benefitted from antidepressant treatment.
