Our 2023 Summer Camps are starting soon! These camps provide the opportunity for kids to continue to build important skills over the summer and prepare for the upcoming school year!

Our Pirate Social Skills Camp is a fun and engaging way to practice social language development within natural interactions among age-level peers. Our Handwriting Camps provide the perfect mix of fun and functional as the kiddos work through leveled materials to gain skills vital to their academic success!

Our 2019 Summer Camp lineup is set! These camps provide a fun and functional way to develop social, language, feeding, and handwriting skills. Our kids (and their parents) love them!

This year’s camps include Pirate Social Camp 🏴☠️, Feeding Camp 🍎🥕🥦🍕, and two Handwriting Camps ✏️📓 for younger and older kids.

Village Therapy Works is pleased to support a new Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment center in the Sugar Land area. Behavioral Innovations is a one-on-one, play based, ABA therapy center with locations in Texas and Oklahoma. The Sugar Land location is now open, with centers in Katy and Cypress coming soon. We hope that Behavioral Innovations will serve as a resource for our Village Therapy Works families seeking out ABA services.

Behavioral Innovations in Sugar Land is hosting a Grand Opening celebration on May 17th for prospective families to tour the facility, meet the community partners, and play games. Dinner will also be provided! As a community partner, Village Therapy Works will host a booth to answer any questions you may have about speech and occupational therapy and the relationship with ABA therapy for our children on the spectrum.

April is National Autism Awareness Month. Individuals around the country are working hard to spread awareness for kids and adults on the autism spectrum. As a speech-language pathologist and Special Olympics swim coach, I get the opportunity to work with individuals on the spectrum almost every day....
