Meet Olga Dominguez—Patient Advocate & Marketing Liaison, and a below-knee amputee sharing her story for Limb Loss Awareness Month.

In 2015, Olga lost her leg due to blood clots. Despite the challenges she faced, she refused to let her circumstances define her. With the support of New Life Brace & Limb, she was able to *step into a new life*—and today, she’s helping others do the same.

Olga now walks alongside patients through every stage of their journey—visiting before and after amputation, supporting them through the prosthetic process, and being a familiar face at monthly support groups.

“I believe any negative situation is just another opportunity to shine.”

Jose is an above-knee amputee who’s choosing to share his story to help encourage others navigating limb loss. His journey hasn’t been easy—but his mindset, determination, and willingness to keep moving forward is what makes it powerful.

With support from Texas Workforce Commission for funding and the team at New Life Brace and Limb for his prosthetic care, Jose is taking steps toward greater independence every day.
