We are excited to welcome Jessica Brim, AGNP-C, to the Clay Consulting team!

Jessica is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine and will be based out of our Roanoke, Virginia clinic. A proud Roanoke Valley native, Jessica began her healthcare journey in the United States Coast Guard, where she served four years on active duty and four years in the reserves as a Corpsman and EMT-B—caring for both active duty and retired veterans.

She earned her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Jefferson College of Health Sciences and worked as an RN on the PCU at Lewis Gale Hospital while completing her M.S. in Nursing – Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Since 2014, Jessica has served as a Nurse Practitioner at Jefferson Internal Medicine, training under esteemed physicians Dr. Lawrence Monahan and Dr. Charles Peterson.

Jessica is certified in Adult-Gerontology through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of both the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Beyond her clinical work, Jessica finds joy in spending quality time with her daughter, who keeps her inspired every day.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jessica A. Port, Psy.D., LPC, CCTP, to the Clay Consulting team!

Dr. Port brings over a decade of experience in individual therapy and group counseling for adults and adolescents across diverse settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospital programs, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

Her expertise spans psychological, forensic, and neuropsychological assessments, as well as clinical supervision for predoctoral interns and practicum students. Dr. Port specializes in trauma, anxiety and depression, self-injurious behaviors, and substance use concerns. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

A strong advocate for first responders and military personnel, Dr. Port developed a wellness training program for law enforcement academies, inspired by her family’s law enforcement and military background. She also conducts workshops on anxiety and therapeutic gaming.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Port enjoys spending time with her family, competing in obstacle races, traveling, and volunteering at an animal shelter.

We are thrilled to welcome Aimee Wright, APRN, FNP-C, to the Clay Consulting team!

Aimee brings over 15 years of clinical experience in trauma, ER, step-down/cardiac care, urgent care, and gastroenterology, along with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Angelo State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Angelo State University. Aimee is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds certifications as a DEA and DOT medical examiner.

Aimee’s commitment to advancing healthcare is exemplified by her role in securing a $200,000 grant from the San Angelo Health Foundation, enabling the purchase of 12-lead ECG monitors for ambulances in San Angelo. She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.

Coming from a family with a strong military background, Aimee is deeply committed to serving the veteran community with compassion and excellence. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, fishing, reading, and pursuing personal growth.

We are thrilled to welcome Hari Banjara, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, to the Clay Consulting team!

Hari brings over 20 years of healthcare experience and a wealth of knowledge in general medicine and acute care. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Hari earned a Master’s of Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree in 2014 and holds certifications in Acute Care Adult Gerontology, Critical Care, ACLS, and BLS. His career is marked by a strong dedication to patient care and service excellence.

Hari has spent the past 9 years serving as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner with Sound Physicians at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. His role involved conducting comprehensive chart reviews, performing physical assessments, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families. Hari's exemplary work has earned him accolades such as the Covenant Values in Action Award and the title of Senior Partner at Sound Physicians.

He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Before entering the nursing field, Hari’s experience in health education and environmental conservation shaped his lifelong commitment to supporting communities in West Texas.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Emily Waller, Au.D., CCC-A, to the Clay Consulting team!

Dr. Waller brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in audiology, with a strong commitment to hearing health care and a deep appreciation for working with veterans. She holds a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from Northern Illinois University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University. Her residency at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, sparked her passion for serving the veteran community and her love for the city of Chicago.

Dr. Waller has spent the past two years working as an audiologist at Carle Audiology & ENT, an outpatient clinic where she collaborated closely with ENT physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex ear pathologies and surgical histories. While she has enjoyed the diversity of working with patients from various backgrounds, Dr. Waller is eager to focus on supporting the veteran population, which holds a personal significance for her due to her grandfather's service in the Army.
Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys exploring local coffee shops, crocheting, and indulging in a good scary movie.

We are thrilled to welcome Jill M. Bouchard, Nurse Practitioner, to the Clay Consulting team!

Jill brings over 40 years of experience in general medicine, specializing in nursing and health care services. She began her career in the 70s, overcoming early challenges to become a certified nursing assistant. Her diverse experience spans from administrative roles, ICU, emergency services, and house supervision to being an instructor in nursing programs and providing hospice care. Throughout her career, she has earned a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration and a Master’s in Nursing, along with an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Jill’s career is marked by her passion for improving access to care, particularly for home care and hospice patients. Her journey has taken her throughout Maine, providing care in numerous capacities. Now, Jill is excited to bring her extensive knowledge and passion for patient care to veterans, supporting them on their health care journeys.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Courtney A. O'Neil Savage, Au.D., to the Clay Consulting team!

Dr. Savage brings over 25 years of experience in audiology, with a deep commitment to hearing health care. She holds a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Rhode Island, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders and Human Development from the same institution, with a focus on early childhood development and a minor in Psychology.

Dr. Savage's career began at RIHAP, where she played a pivotal role in pioneering universal newborn hearing screening at Women & Infant's Hospital in Providence, RI. She later pursued an Associates degree in Massage Therapy from the Community College of Rhode Island before returning to audiology. Courtney has since contributed her expertise to private audiology practices and private ENT practices, including her recent tenure at ENT & Allergy, Inc. in Warwick, RI.

In addition to being board-certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Courtney is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is deeply passionate about advocating for those with hearing loss, ensuring the most vulnerable in our society receive the hearing health care they deserve. Courtney's dedication extends beyond her professional life; she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their extended family in Rhode Island and Texas, along with her two cats, Swiffer & Fascia. She also cherishes her involvement with her church family.

Dr. Jacquelyn (Jackie) Jouett is an Audiologist with a B.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University (2018) and a Doctorate of Audiology from Illinois State University (2023). Although a new professional, she has gained extensive experience in various settings, including adult and pediatric ENT clinics, outpatient VA clinics, private practices, and educational environments. This diverse background has shaped her patient-centered approach to care.

Jackie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Association of Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is especially excited to work with our nation's veterans through Clay Consulting, providing them with the highest quality of hearing care.

We are delighted to welcome Ingrid Kernizan Watkins FNP-BC to the Clay Consulting team! Ingrid brings extensive experience and expertise in general medicine as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in family health.

Ingrid Watkins is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by The American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed in Illinois. She began her career in nursing in 1991 and has been a family nurse practitioner since 2012. Ingrid received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing followed by a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. While working as a Gastroenterology Educator at The University of Chicago Medical Center, she completed her post graduate certificate at North Park University in Chicago, Illinois, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Her previous experience includes work in the hospital setting, long-term care, home health, mobile nursing, outpatient settings, and the specialty of phlebology (the study, diagnosis, and treatment of lower extremity venous insufficiency) and VA exams. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan.

Ingrid believes in forging professional relationships with her patient population, thereby achieving a better understanding of their health needs and goals in order to treat her patients holistically.

Ingrid, along with her husband, Warren Watkins, and son Aiden P. Watkins, currently resides on the north side of Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys listening to a diverse genre of music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

We are delighted to welcome Christa Conologue APRN, FNP-BC, to the Clay Consulting team! Christa brings extensive experience and expertise in general medicine as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in family health.

Christa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Tampa, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009. She furthered her education at The University of South Florida, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree with a focus on family health in 2013. Christa is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner accredited by The American Nurses Credentialing Center.

With 7 years of experience in completing compensation and pension exams, Christa has demonstrated her dedication to serving veterans. Notably, she served on the Optum Serve Health Services, Inc. Veterans Benefit Administration Medical Disability Examination Advisory Board from 2021-2023.

Christa's commitment to excellence is reflected in her membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her passion for patient care is evident in her approach to assisting veterans through the compensation exam process.
