✨Baby Arrival Update! ✨

We’re overjoyed to share the wonderful news from one of our amazing followers, Greg and 💜 Their beautiful baby girl, Riley Rae Perry, was born on December 3rd at 39 weeks. Dr. Sullivan at Methodist The Woodlands delivered her after a quick and smooth labor — less than 5 hours of induction, and just 2 pushes!

Throughout her pregnancy, Linda managed her BP with care, and we’re so glad to hear Riley’s arrival was smooth and healthy. Big sister Ellie and big brother Gavin are already head over heels in love with their baby sister. 🍼

A huge thank you to Dr. Steward and the incredible team at Aspire HFI The Woodlands for their unwavering support throughout their journey. We’re so happy to have been part of creating such a beautiful family. 🥰

✨Cryopreservation Technology: Advances in cryopreservation techniques, particularly vitrification (ultra-rapid freezing), allow embryos to be safely stored for long periods without compromising their viability.

This technology minimizes the risk of ice crystal formation, which can damage the cells.

Storage Duration: Embryos can be frozen for years or even decades. There have been documented cases of healthy babies being born from embryos frozen for over 20 years. The current record is a baby born from an embryo frozen for 27 years.

Why Freeze Embryos?
Future Family Planning: Couples or individuals undergoing IVF can save embryos for future attempts if they wish to expand their families later.

Medical Reasons: Embryos can be frozen before medical treatments like chemotherapy, which may impact fertility.
Genetic Testing: Embryos can be frozen while undergoing genetic testing (PGT) for inherited conditions.

Egg or S***m Donor Programs: Some patients freeze embryos to use with donor eggs or s***m at a later time.
Thawing Process: Frozen embryos can be thawed and used when the patient is ready. The survival rate of thawed embryos has significantly improved, with many clinics reporting success rates comparable to those of fresh embryos.
