BCM Developmental Pediatrics Education Support Hub

BCM Developmental Pediatrics Education Support Hub Welcome to the hub for Developmental Pediatrics community outreach and education.

This page was created as a place where caregivers and professionals can connect with an interdisciplinary team of experts in developmental and behavioral pediatrics through a variety of individual and group based educational offerings. Our goal is to provide targeted support and guidance as children grow and develop, and to support community providers in managing the care of their patients.

Are you a parent or caregiver struggling to manage the behaviors of your child with a developmental diagnosis?

The strategies that you use for one child, don't always work for others and knowing how to tweak your strategies at home to best meet the needs of your child can make a HUGE impact on behavior!

Join us for a free intensive behavior management workshop here at the Meyer Center. This is a parent only workshop and lunch will be provided! We have a session in Spanish happening in September and a English session in October.

E-mail swprograms@texaschildrens.org today to sign up!

Family members and friends helping care for your child are welcome to come as well!

Our team is keeping the families and loved ones of those impacted by the flooding in Central Texas in our thoughts this holiday weekend.

While seeing this level of devastation can be overwhelming to us as adults, remember that your children are watching and listening as well. Your child may be struggling to deal with some of the same questions and feelings that you are as an adult.

Calling all behavioral health therapists!

As we strive to provide more comprehensive and inclusive care for our clients and their families, we would like to compile a list of community-based therapists who work with individuals with developmental differences. When clients are in need of referrals for mental health services, we hope to provide a more comprehensive list of therapists and psychologists for them to choose from. If you would like to be considered for this referral list, please complete this short survey.
