First CE Seminar of the Year — In the Books 📚✨

Dr. Hayden kicked off the year in Scottsdale, Arizona with an 8-hour deep dive into endocrine physiology and systems-based care.

In a room filled with chiropractors, nurses, acupuncturists, naturopaths, and medical doctors, the focus was clear:

Liz spent the day fully immersed in cardiometabolic education and collaborative learning. We had the opportunity to learn from Dustin Strong, Certified Holistic & Clinical Nutritionist of Strong on Health, with deep dives into heart health, cardiometabolic patterns, and the clinical application of Heart Sound Recording.

We also appreciated insights from Dr Jeff Crippen and Dr Scott Vrzal, whose perspectives added meaningful depth to the day’s discussions.

Between sessions, restoration was just as intentional, with AccuDetox, PEMF, and craniosacral therapy supporting focus and integration. A special highlight was enjoying mineral-rich Crazy Water, a perfect complement to a day centered on foundational health.

Full minds, supported nervous systems, and renewed inspiration to bring the latest in holistic heart health back to our patients. 🫀✨

Liz and Dr. Chase (accompanied by his wife, Stephanie) attended another clinical nutrition workshop—this time focused entirely on headaches 🧠✨

Not all headaches are the same, and that matters. The workshop explored how different headache patterns show up in the body and how they can often be supported naturally using whole-food–based clinical nutrition 🌿🥗

Upcoming Supplement Pricing Update – January 2026

At The Hayden Institute, we believe patients deserve transparency when changes may affect their care. Standard Process has announced a small pricing adjustment that will take effect at the end of December, going into January 2026 (at this time we have not heard from other companies).

These changes are related to increased manufacturing costs, raw material expenses, and global economic factors. The increases are relatively modest, but patients using multiple supplements regularly may notice the difference.

At this time:
- Care plans are not changing
- Supplement recommendations remain clinically driven
- No action is required

However, patients who are already stable on their protocols and planning to continue the same supplements into the new year may choose to review their purchasing options ahead of time.

Teaching Functional Medicine in Oklahoma City 🌾

This weekend, Dr. Chase Hayden had the privilege of presenting an 8-hour continuing education class for the Chiropractic Physicians of Oklahoma, sponsored by Standard Process.

The training focused on key functional medicine topics including:

⚖️ Metabolic syndrome
🦋 Thyroid dysfunction
💪 Adrenal stress
🌿 Hormone imbalance

It was an incredible experience connecting with colleagues and sharing how the whole food philosophy can transform patient care—helping clinicians better understand the why behind chronic metabolic and hormonal challenges.
