Our Story

Dr. Dean has special interests in shoulder and knee surgery. He feels fortunate to have been trained when both open and arthroscopic surgery were used widely. “Today, many procedures are done arthroscopically that we used to do open. It is important to know both techniques in order to choose what is best for each individual case.” Dr. Dean tries to treat patients nonoperatively when possible and feels that one of the best aspects of his training program was learning both nonoperative and operative treatments for orthopaedic problems.
